Im sure a lot of you know but for those of you who have not tried the Starkist Hickory Smoked Tuna in the packs, TRY IT. It is amazingly good and a great change from the regular tuna. Its a great for in between meals as it has 28 grams of protein in 1 pack and plus you get some good omega fats in it as well.

Those things are damn good! I like most of the flavors but always try to pick out the lower carb ones. They are great for those who have to travel also. They also make some tuna steaks that are great!
 
you are correct my man its a good change up,hickory smoke,lemon pepper and sometimes i get the sweet and spicey.

Have you ever tried SMOKED KIPPERS? I really enjoy the Rolands brand. It's in water not oil. Damn tasty with some stone ground crackers. In my desk right now I have some chicken of the sea packs, healthy selections light tuna. I wish to God I had some seasoning in there! hahaha Will have to give those starkists a shot too. Thanks.
 
Do you guys pay any mind to the advisory that you should only eat 3 cans a week max. I love me some tuna, I like to just drain it, and pour on apple cider vinegar (or any vinegar). I like the added benefits of using organic apple cider vinegar though. I like a shot of vinegar plain too once in a while.:p

I pay about as much attention to the tuna advisory as I do advisories regarding steroids. I do eat alot of tuna, but don't notice any bad side effects from mercury. anyone ever experienced side effects from tuna?

I wish I could get TUNA down just for the protein content but its just something I guess I will never like.

i feel you bro. i used to take a laof of bread and a bowl of tuna salad every day to work. i eat 1 on the way to work 1 at work 2 9am break 3 for lunch.

no it almost makes me throw up when i try to eat it.:(

I also eat quite a bit of tuna. typically 2 to 4 cans a day with some triskets. I also worry about the mercury and think that I will give tuna a rest after I finish with the 30 or so cans I have in my pantry ;)

I good substitute for a quick tuna meal is a can of chicken that I buy at walmart. The chicken can is about twice the size of a tuna can and contains 66 grams of protein (and a lot of sodium)
