Update from the Mr. AZ...Hutch, BigWilly, ect

I was just on the phone with a couple of guys who were giving me updates as the prejudging was taking place.....

Hutch is in the top 3 for sure and the hardest in his class but Im not sure what place....there is a shorter, thicker guy in his class with good shape that might take it from what I was told. The guy trains at my gym but stays covered all the time so it was impossible to see his condition.

Big willy I was told came in somewhere in the high 230's and is holding a ton of water. Im not really sure of his placing.

Dusty Hanshaw's training partner barely made the Lightheavies and is going to win that class pretty easily from what I was told but as far as who is winning the overall I will have to see tonight. Dexter Jackson is guest posing and I'm pretty stoked to see that because that guys "out of shape" trumps most guys "good" condition. I will try and keep guys posted

Thanks for the heads up. From what Hutch told me they moved him in the center and had him there the whole time, but we all know how that can go....well, i do anyways.

if you get to talk to him before the night show tell him that he is already a winner and either way were proud of him..good luck HUTCH and BUG WILLY

I think it really depends on what they (the judges) are looking for. The top three in that class are all really fantastic athletes. You never really know until the end. If Hutch ends up winning I dont think anyone will argue though....I think thats an indication of how good the top three really are in that class.

I double and tripled checked.

BW didnt even post anything about this on his own board IPOP..

why am I lost?

u arent lost.. the night just started not long ago.. and yes BW didnt tell anyone he was even doing the show...

No Bro your not lost...For some reason AZ shows never get into any contest schedules...No one really makes an attempt to let the rest of the country that we are a great bodybuilding state...That is one of the main reasons that inspired me to start IRON Attitude...Besides a great of making money doing some thing I enjoy it is also a way for me to get the word spread about AZ bodybuilding and what we have to offer...After I am done with all my contest this month there are gonna be some BIG things happening and we wont have this problem of no one being able to get results or even know the show is going on...

Arizona NPC website: **broken link removed**

The website has results from past shows, and a few photos of each competitor.

I attended the Arizona Open in 2005 and posted photos on another forum, and I remember people saying that it was the first time that they saw photos from an Arizona show.
