Upper limit for flax/fiber dosage per day?

I've got an abnormally high appetite which kills me on prep. I feel like everyone says that but even at my highest cals, 3200 is about the highest I can go although it varies by prep. This is when I can eat 6000-7000 a day and feel like I barely ate at all.

So, going to use fiber (likely ground flax seed or psyllium husk) to help curb appetite. Obviously this needs to be worked up to but does anyone have any experience with the highest safe intake per day or potential problems?

Thinking I'll start with 5g with or between a few meals per day and eventually work this up to 10g+ per meal for 6-7 meals
 
I use about 2 tablespoons of a flax based fiber along with about 1 table spoon of metamucil before bed.

I would not take the fiber with food as it could mess with digestion and you will be bloated all day. Once per day is enough, i have tried more frequent fiber during contest prep and it wasn't too good for my stomach
 
I like adding / sprinkling 1 Tbsp. of ground flax to a couple meals (on my eggs for breakfast for sure). Then I use psyllium husk (not the fine ground powder) at 1 Tbsp. (5g) mixed with water 1-2x per day between meals & away from any supplements / medications (since psyllium husk can reduce the absorption of certain things). That should be good to help you between meals with hunger. I don't think you need to go higher than 2-3x per day with the psyllium husk.

For me, psyllium husk / fiber is a key supplement that I use year round 1x per day. My digestion and regularity is so much better when I use it.
 
Agree on the 1-2 servings year around. That's what I do now and my digestion is much better- won't take with meals now that you guys mentioned that with absorption but betweeen meals has always made my digestion better.

It's not necessary just wondering if there is an upper limit since I'm sick of taking high doses of adderall on prep
