VANDER V DVD

Anybody heard anything about VV's 'Vanderbuilt' dvd? What's it been? Like 2 years since they shot that thing. Are we ever gonna see it?

On this topic I will defend Big VV. He's going through major issues with the people who filmed the DVD. The guy who directed it is going to end up in some turmoil real soon, because he filmed VV and some other athletes and is not going to be able to finalize the project. In contract, the Producer was suppose to produce a certain number of videos for each athlete and he ran into money issues and hasn't payed the guy who filmed it so the videographer wont release the footage. I was in the gym when the video was filmed, I saw it shot. So I'll defend VV on this and say that it's definately not his fault and he's the one being Fucked on this deal. It's probably gonna come down to a lawsuit.

this happens more than you would think. some of these guys dont have the financial backing to get these filmed properly. I'd like to see the DVD.

Who cares?

The reality of it is why the hell do any of you care about this DVD? V was a classic self promoter, the guy was full of himself. A pompous assclown.

I will give him credit for his build, and the fact that he wished me well when I was sick. But other then that, he and I had countless clashes and I have no desire to see him on this board again. I know I speak for ALOT of people, so if you want to break my balls, remember who the true vets are. It definetly was not him.

Call him an assclown if youd like, he still was a pretty big contributor to the board in his time. Iv personally seen his PM box, and he would get loads of PMs from lots of members asking for advice and help, and he answered each and every one of them in depth. Cant even say i do that. Now if that isnt sincere and show good will to help people out, i dunno what does.

I think alot of the controversy with him, was him speaking his mind. If he thought it, he said it. He didnt hold back (maybe should ahve more than a few times). Other times (and i will almost guarantee 90% of you will deny it but know im right).... he said what we all were THINKING....

The temporary ban was for tearing down other members. They banned him permanently for a post in the general forum that most did not see where he brought Simone into the argument, told me to go fuck myself and actually said he wanted to bitch slap me. I, personally, would love to see this happen someday. Love it.

I saw the thread Kais is referring to, and like I said before their issue should have been taken care of through PM's and not openly on the board....Yes, Vander is cocky as hell and can talk alot of shit, but also a great contributor to the board and very helpful, wouldn't mind seeing him back....The board is Professional Muscle bros, the man looks great you gotta give him that....He's earned the right to be cocky if he wants, just some issues/comments should be kept behind closed doors....Would like to see the dvd, hope the shit pans out in the end........

I got to disagree with you on this one bro. Just because the guy has a good built doesn't entitle him or anyone to act that way. Sure he contributed but so do alot of other guys here with quality physiques. I don't see them acting in similar fashion.

Check out his old threads. he called me every name in the book and some mods said they saw nothing wrong with it. It is all in the eye of the beholder, we will never all agree.......so we move on.

Man, you voting for Hillary or Kucinich? Sounds like you are a little too sensitive to me.

I'm an advocate of constructive criticism. Its better to get some critical advice in a picture thread rather than having everyone telling you how perfect you look so that you're set up for disappointment when you don't do that great in a show. I know its easier to just sit back and say, "Oh its the judges fault!" rather than recognizing weak points and working on them.

Vander had a lot of shit go down i the past year - don't know the guy personally but from what I read here.

I think someone should cut the guy some slack. If Phil can get along with Vander after their verbal assaults, then I think his suspension after his last tirade should be a temporary one.

Unless someone has such an ego that he/she feels Vander can't be forgiven
