Viagra or cialis pre workout ?

I’ve heard they are great for pre workout, but not sure of dosage of each and how long before workout should I take it , worth a try I guess , btw ,will not be using both at same time of course , just wondering good dosage for each pre workout and how long before workout should I take them
 
• Cialis: 10-20mg. Great if you’re planning some other activities post workout as well if you know what I mean. Even the day after you took it.

• Viagra: 50mg. Feels stronger but works shorter. Definitely feel the stuffy nose during training.

Have tried both at max dosages several times with zero effect in the weight room and a slight, almost insignificant effect in the bed room 😲

FYI, I get Cialis at goodrx, a 90 day supply of .5mg for $12 which I take prophylacticly (sp) for BPH so the stuff is running through my body 24/7.

I've heard of people using them but some people use so many things pre, I like to keep it simple.

Protein and carb meal ( low fiber and fat).
Caffeine
Oral aas if using


Some people use bCAA, raw, cialis, slin with liquid carbs, hydrolyzed protein, glutamine, beta alanine, tne, orals, it's gotta be hard to know what's doing what. I saw one of the evidence based guys post a study showing if someone is eating enough protein that bCAA have no benefit ( placebo) but we know lots of people swear by them.

My workouts are fine. Almost too fine. I look like I have gained 10lbs after working out. I got that part down. And I have tried just about everything on your list, and more, with no appreciable effect.

Was more commenting to op, I personally prefer the minimalist approach to pre workout. Looks like you and I have the same experience, adding a bunch of things didn't have an appreciable affect.

I feel like alot of guys take stuff but the important thing (the training) is what needs to be optimized.

I do make sure I get a good amount of sodium and potassium pre. Forgot about them
 
I used to be able to handle 10-25mg cialis with no issues but as I have gotten older I usually get severe flushing in the following few hours and a horrible headache the day after using it at higher doses. I have 5mg cialis tabs and they can still give me some side effects but are generally great. Although you don't get the same sexual benefits at that dose and 10-20mg is far better in that regard. I should note the sexual benefits from 5mg daily is still great just not on the same level for me as higher doses. Viagra always gave me side effects even from the start but mainly a runny/stuffed nose and severe flushing. I experimented with dosing and I was ok on 25mg but again the benefits aren't the same when compared to higher doses.

Now the above is just for me and for most the standard doses (10-20mg and 50-100mg) should work excellently. Although in my experience most tend to be either/or meaning they usually prefer 1 of the 2 much more than the other so experimenting with both is key to knowing what works best for you. I wouldn't use more than 20mg cialis and 50mg viagra as those doses are more than enough for most people.

Cialis is a fantastic bodybuilding drug for a number of reasons. It's long acting (viagra is much shorter) which is very beneficial. It can help with blood pressure issues. The pumps can be incredible. The increased vascularity is incredible. Cialis increases lipolysis and on top of that increase in FFA's there shouldn't be an inflammatory response. It can also increase testosterone levels. It 100% makes me look better when dosing it daily and I always look much freakier because of the enhanced vascularity. Although these days I probably use 5mg approx 1/4 of the year and none the rest of the time (20mg a handful of times). If used long term I would recommend a dosage of 5mg daily or 10mg EOD.
 
Years ago i used to take low dose (5 mg) of cialis pre workout. It blown away every NO/pump supplements i ever taken. Pump and vascularity were insane. And some "unwanted" hardon too, lol. Too bad that it gave me hearthburn and acid reflux during training, so i gave up taking it. Viagra (sildenafil).. not as proununced effects in the vascularity/pump/esthetically department, but better and faster acting for sexual performance. I have it on hand in the case i fuck up with e2 levels.
Both gives me headache and stuffy nose at higher dose.
 
I take liquid c all the time for fun (not sure mgs as it’s a few drops). Don’t know if it helps in the gym but you def get a little more of a vascular look. Just be prepared for 2 days of boners and a lot of heartburn.
 
Neither do a damn thing for me working out. But they do harden up what they’re intended too! And that’s the only reason I take em.

My ultimate pump stack is a combo of viagra and cialis, 1 gram sodium chloride tablet, 3 grams citrulline malate and a couple iu’s insulin with some carbs peri workout. Insane skin stretching feeling. Especially while on gh. But works nearly as well without the slin.

Not trying to be a smart ass and I am all in for a great pump but does a pump truly indicative future growth?

I have my opinion but am curious what you or others think.
 
I take Cialis 10mg EOD. I take in the AM before workouts. I do not notice anything significant in the gym. But, it does help with the boners for sure.

Muscle pumps 100% don't indicate future growth but they can be very useful in gauging certain things. A workout without attaining a great pump simply doesn't feel as good either. Notwithstanding, many of us don't have one select date in mind to look our best so we want to feel and look good every day of the year. Taking in certain aids (nitric oxide expanders for example) daily can mean you are walking around full, pumped and vascular for most of the day and for me that is ideal. If those aids can also contribute to overall and sexual health as well as making you feel/look better daily then it's a win/win for me.

Possibly nothing, but it feels good and I like it so that’s reason enough for me. It’s motivating to get a good pump

Not to mention….if you didn’t get a good pump….why? Too low on sodium? Didn’t go to sleep on time? Overtrained? A great pump is usually a decent sign that things are going well

10mg EOD sounds reasonable considering the half-life. As for ‘boners’, the effect is next to nothing even at the high end of prescribed dosage for ED. Luckily, no real issues in that department, and if so, still no significant effect, in fact downright disappointing. I am 67.

And like I said, it has zero effect on me in the gym which I am fine with.
 
Use a little slin (5UI) is my sweet spot for a great pump (with carbs). I have used Cialis and my face gets flush as shit. Once in a while, if you time that shit right, helps in the bedroom but hate the side effects personally.
 
I never noticed anything super talking Cialis or Viagra before lifting weights, but it does help my endurance running performance. It lets me keep a decent output at a slightly lower heart rate than i otherwise would be at. This equals better breathing and less fatigue.

I am willing to bet you that if I gave you a blind choice of a placebo or Sildenafil and asked you if you felt any different, or that your time was any faster, you could not or it would not.

I suspect the same thing would happen in the gym, same pump either way. Double blind study. And I could do this time after time with the same results. Such is the strength placebo effect.

But hey, if it makes you feel better, be my guest.

The most powerful ‘supplement’ is your mind.

And by the way, Sildenafil is not banned by the IOC.
