Agree. The placebo affect is legit. For 36 hour wood I can attest it works but wouldn't take it for a pump.
Agree. The 'wood' is an undeniable scientific fact . . . for some, and more for others.
Circling back to science, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) looks high and
low, far and wide, deep and dark to find any substance that may improve performance.
Fact.
If tadalafil or sildenafil citrate improved performance the IOC would find it, know
about it and they would have good reason to when gold is involved. Unquestionably,
the athlete would be disqualified and these substances would be banned. And they
are not.
As far as a muscular pump is concerned, if people say it helps them then who am
I to judge? Placebo or not. But I would love to see some data to substantiate it,
like the pump induced by that same exercises, sets and reps, and while crude
and not taking into account, for example and for lack of a better word, 'desire',
the date would indeed be interesting to interpret.
