I buy mine direct from the factory in 20kg drums unflavoured. So I pick it up pretty cheap. I think its the best carb for filling you back out PWO. I have experienced faster recovery between workouts and generally feel allot fuller.
It works... but so does any carbohydrate that doesn't cause gas, bloating, or abdominal discomfort. Most people feel or say that it works better than anything else is because when they use glucose or maltodextrin, they get really bad gas and bloating. it would be stupid not to think it would affect you in a negative way. any carbohydrate would do if you don't have any allergic reaction to it. hell, the best carb that fills me out and causes no bloating, distention, gas... etc for me is cranberry juice! and that goes against every damn research and crap about glycogen replenishment that i've read.
