Got the news that Conrad who went by the name Thor here for many years passed away early this morning. He suffered a stroke a few years back and just couldn’t recover from it, he was in a rehab center ever since it happened. To make things worse he got cancer and that’s ultimately what took him. Suffered through Covid as well but was able to beat that. How much can someone take?

Conrad was a great guy, we would talk and share some laughs and I always tried to encourage his rehab and he had his good days and bad. But you could tell he wasn’t himself, he didn’t want to live that way being paralyzed on one side. I talked to him one last time a couple weeks ago while he was in hospice and you could tell he knew his time was up. May he Rest In Peace, he fought long and hard and was a good man. Please keep him in your thoughts and if you pray, send some his way on his journey to heaven. Farewell old friend, no more pain only love and peace ahead of you.

That's awful. I remember when he had the stroke. I had hoped he would make significant progress from that. RIP THOR!

Thor was a friend and a great member of the site. One of the original members.
May he rip. Hope to see him and the others one day moving big weights on the other side.

Sad news for sure but hopefully at peace now. A tough fighter that held on as long as he could hoping for a better outcome. I couldn't imagine the pain and mental anguish he was having to go through living day to day in that state.

I hope everyone he touched appreciates the time he was given on earth.
It’s hard not to be sad during this fucked up shitty time, but hopefully Thor had a good run and enriched a few lives while he was at here.

Wow, he really got dealt a bad hand. I remember the stroke because I think he posted about it on here. Terribly surprised to hear about the cancer. I figured he'd beat the stroke and get back to a more normal life. Thor had a strong will and was brave.

He has found peace. I wish his family and friends well.

His ex girlfriend just texted me this pic with this thought...

“May he ride in Paradise”

I have had tears all day for him, but I know he is free at last. We lost a good one brothers, I will miss him 8B86B628-0C17-40A0-8C47-15C385AED4E3.jpeg
