I have never used digestive enzymes before and now I am going to give them a try.
I have a bottle of Multiple Enzyme Complex. Produced by Beverly International.
The supplement facts:
Serving size: 1 tablet
Per serving:
Betaine HCL 180mg
Pepsin 40mg
Papain 50mg
Ox Bile 120mg
Pancreatin 60mg
Mycozyme 64mg
From what you see, is this a good digestive supplement? Or do I need to look for something a little better? My current diet is basically High protein, low to mod carb, and low fat. I try to eat 6 meals a day. 3 are usually protein shakes and the rest is either chicken or lean ground beef. Carbs are raw oatmeal (I have to drink it with protein shakes), brown rice, or wheat buns. Of course I down my share of veggies. I use natural peanut butter for fat in two of my protein shakes. A little bit of olive oil for my chicken.
The bottle recommends to take 1 at each meal. Should I take one with every protein shake as well? Or just take one with each Solid meal?
Thanks
VG
