What do you wear after getting spray tan for competition

Trying to get insight in to what competitors are wearing after getting spray tanned and prejudging. I've always worn the typical baggy workout pants and loose shirt but my tan always seems to get rubbed off around waist etc. What do you wear?

I just wore mesh shorts. I also waited about 30 min butt ass naked till it was pretty dry. However I did not get it done by the show vender. I had it done at a private place near me the day before the show. Also, I believe the girl that did mine out some baby powder around my waist so it wouldn't rub

Do not get wet for 6 hrs
Do not wear your suit for 4 hrs
Do wear yoga pants/pajamas (silk is ideal), shirt to bed
Do wear loose clothing, robe, flip flops after tan

first show did dream tan

lasy show used spray tan company got sprayed tanned evening then right before the morning meeting

best to get spray tanned all at once like 3 coats or so?

its almost impossible to be too dark, yes?

Set the room temp fairly cold, 65 or so.

I wear breakaways and a really loose under armor type shirt with flip flops. Sleep in it

I usually sleep with almost nothing so it sucks pretty bad wearing long pants and shirts to bed the night before. But to be fair, I probably wouldn't sleep regardless lol.

What I found works best for me after I am completely dry and not tacky (stand next to the air conditioner to help dry and freeze my butt off) is to wear a loose t-shirt and large boxers with the waist band rolled down then lay one sheet down and pull another sheet over you with your arms on top of the sheet. It's amazing where your hands end up when your sleeping......keep the room cool as MT mentioned above.

i havent tried it but think its a good idea to have a shot or two the night before the show because
1. alcohol is a diuretic, Dorian mentioned this in a video, as did Levrone
2. helps you relax , not the reason your doing it , still a benefit though right

Obviously, no more than a couple drinks , maybe good idea to bring them with diet soda, rum with diet soda works with me

but to each there own, gin doesnt go well with my stomach , vodka-idk, rum seems best for me.

I heard the alcohol brings the veins out as well. A friend told me to drink cheap sweet wine before a shoot lol.

In a few weeks I check in, weigh in etc

then get spray tanned. I'm going to be driving back an hour to stay the night(not staying at a hotel)so ill be sitting down driving an hour afterwards

think me sitting down will mess with the spray tan too much?

You should be fine. You'll likely get touched up in the morning as well. I would stand in front of a fan as long as possible before getting dressed and leaving.

I just put my trunks on, wear loose pajama pants, and a way-too-big button down long-sleeve shirt. Never really have problems with any rubbing off.

i use a loose button down short sleeve shirt, easy on and off, and loose seats thats are thin
but im liking this idea of a robe , but might not work well for running out to eat ... still better than just a sock
