i don't listen to rap that much, just here and there, but i keep hearing the term "trick." what exactly is a trick? i know its some kind of girl but can't make it out exactly. (sorry if this sounds like a dumb question)

A Trick in rap would be a girl. A roll up pop in her in the eye and say bye. Booty call at its cheapest meaning. That would be kinda be messed up if all the guy rappers were talking about getting with Tricks and they were guys? Well at least in the ATL that the meaning........

a trick is a man that pays for a female....(its not a RAP term for a HO)...turning a trick...( GETTING PAID FOR SEX). if a rapper calls a man a trick, hes talking about a guy that spends money on a female ( buying her shoes, purses, jewelry, cars, etc.) in hopes of getting some ass (he got tricked). now the new catch phrased used is " it aint tricking if you got it" meaning if you have money to spend, then youre not a trick, youre just a guy that can do that. but bottom line, tricking, trick, tricked, etc...are used when talking about prostitution.
