What is the best type of contest tan?

IFBB Pros, please feel free to chime in on this one:

What do you all use for competition and why? protan, dream tan, etc?

I ask b/c in the past, I've used dream tan and I really like it. However, that stuff is a pain in the ass to get off. It usually takes me about 10 showers over 5 days to get that stuff off. Any suggestions on removing dream tan?

I just remembered that Claude Groulx had a competition tan product. Any thoughts on this tanning product? I've heard that it gave great color and was pretty easy to wash off.

Not 100% sure, but I think his is similar to Dream Tan in that you apply shortly before going on stage. I've heard a lot of people say they like this Olympic Tan. It comes out almost like hair mousse and you rub it on. Last time I used 3-4 coats of Protan with one coat of Dream Tan and looked pretty good. I'm gonna try this Olympic Tan this year.

Easy Q

Don't use dreamtan - It washes out to many striations and cuts. Never personally seen an American IFBB bodybuilder use it.

Protan is the way to go.

Olympic tan - never used it but have heard lots of good things.



Now one combo that looks good if you can get it right is - Protan and Dyoderm. It takes a little practice as it can give you a green tint, but looks great. Its the same combo that Cutler used at the Olympia in 2001 when his color looked better then ever.
