Lately I see people going out of their way to be mean or hateful instead of nice and polite. I was surfing craigslist and saw this post. It reminded me of the "gyms in Baltimore" thread here a couple years back.

It has got to be something in the water. The bay is contaminated and nasty. Too many crabs or something. I have never been in a city as horrible as this place. The people are just degenerates. (I am not calling everyone a degenerate, but of the people I have dealt with in the past 2 and a half years here, the majority have been this way.) I have lived all over the country and I just cannot understand why people are the way they are here. It seems like everyone is miserable and everyone wants to fight. They are always right and if you do not see the world through their eyes, they want to fight you.
There are too many illiterate people here to be using Craigslist too. I can understand a typo here and there, but when you read some of these posts, it makes me nervous as hell! These are the people who are driving next to you! If they cannot read/spell, how are they driving and reading street signs?
In general, a good portion of the population here has issues! I am outta here this week and it can't come soon enough!!!

I have a post with my phone number in it, so you can call me for questions, directions or whatever.. Why does some idiot respond with thier phone number and say call me I have a question?? WTF I dont get it
