This is a good one, because its food and not some concoction. For me potatoes or fruit. An expensive sugar drink IMO is not going to benefit me over food, it may actually be less ideal for many reasons.
I have not, I have used dextrose and malto mixed with hydro and isolate back in the day. From what I've read, the only time it is beneficial or needed to drink a fast acting carb and protein pwo is when you train fasted. If you eat 1 or 2 hours before training the aminos are still being released into your blood after training so the steady supply is already happening. I think it was Alan argon that said this. What are your thoughts? I always aim to optimize things so I'm open to changing my approach.I am not disagreeing with you and in the majority if cases I actually agree. Food should always come first but just curious have you ever used the likes of HBCD's?
some of you are eating cereal post workout??? why would you want all that sugar thats being shuttled through along with all the glycogen?
