Ditch the scale. It is like a wieiji board, it fucks with your head. (Unless
you are are tying to make a weight class) Use a mirror and fotos taken
under the exact same conditions once a week. And too many valuables
for my taste to use measurements too. The mirror, fotos and unbiased
people to us as judges . . . hard to find would be my preference But hey,
what do I know?

My opinion.

This 100percent. I use body composition and performance as my gauge.

Damn. So you stay close to contest ready at all times? Not sure if a legitimate 8% is a good place to stay
Never competed, never had the genetics or size, but try to stay a lean 185 at 5'10. I joined a different gym and the Inbody machine had me at 7.5 or something (not sure the exact numbers paper is in my car). From what I read, they are fairly accurate and not trying to dish out the $$ for an actual scan. Plan is to check routinely on the machine for comparison purposes just to make sure if I push for some size, the bf doesn't go up. Just by trial and error ive found I pretty much maintain my weight at 3200 calories ED using MFP with cardio 5x per week. Eating BW x 17 in calories and maintaining weight so I guess that indicates my metabolism is still going pretty good? May try and bump calories up to 3500 soon and hope I don't get soft lol

It has been my experience that it does not take as very many calories
above your maintenance level to stay lean but still gain muscle given
the intensity / stimuli is high enough to trigger growth, your diet in
on-point (but it can still be crap) and you are getting enough rest.
And yes, you can gain muscle on a low protein, below maintenance level
caloric 'diet'. Seen it done many times . . . but never on any world class
athletes as they would be non-believers, would be afraid to try it, but
then why try it when there are smarter ways to do it. Just relaying
what is possible regardless of that other people say.

Agree on the pics. When I used to work with Alex A online years ago he would have me send pics every 2 weeks and track weight.

So grow lean? What kind of calories do you take in per day? I want to stay below 8 percent, I use scale and waist measurement to keep myself in check.
Protein around 200 carbs around 200-300 fats low around 70

Bring up weak(relative term as I don't have really strong ones either lol) body parts so I look decent in more than one or two poses lol. Get my condition to the point where I finally feel comfortable posting a picture in the picture thread.

Thanks now tell me if you saw analysis on TP black #94 and also did you ever get your damn trest lol
I might sound stupid, what is tp black?
Yes I did finally get my trest. The mods here were awesome and stepped in.

I went against my better judgement and added some tren a on top of it and made it about a week and a half before dropping it. I dropped the trest too as I was honestly feeling off from it.
