Curently I've ran into a snag and am finding myself getting most of my daily needs from my blender.
Burnt out on whole food meals I've been suplimenting more and more shakes for my needs, when is it to much?
My curent shake to gain weight on is:
115 grams oats
117grams protein powder
2 tbs flax
10 oz whole milk
1 oz pecan halves
6 oz yogurt.
1630 cal.---------------4890
100g protein------------ 300
159g carbs------------- 477
33g fat----------------- 99
This all ends up being close to a 5 cup shake and I'm drinking 3 per day.
2nd meal , pwo and before bed.
After adding it up I find myself thinking I've fallen into the drink it and go attitude and seem to be eating less whole food in the process.
other meals are breakfast:
12 eggs 10 whites 2 yolks and an orange
Lunch
10 oz red meat 1/2 cup mixed veggies
Dinner
10 oz red meat, fish or chicken and 1 large yam
I know its not the greatest regime but it works for me, what can I change to get out of this mentality of "I have to drink this much every day?"
