Who Gets Gyno? A Boobie Discussion...

Ok, now lets set the record straight that there are 2 kinds of gyno. Number one, the guy has it from the day he reaches puberty or just a little later. This is what is explained to me as a Psuedo Gynocomastia. This usually ends up being True woman like breasts, nipples and all. This is a different story from what I am talking about. The Gyno I am talking about is the normal lump under the nipple benign growth that happens usually while you have to much testosterone than your body can handle due to receptors so it turns into estrogen (which us guys hate, both on a physical and mental level, lol... Either one causes us pain...). Either way, I have it when I am on gear, and against popular belief I don't when I am off. They shrink to almost nothing. My wife Simone works for a plastic surgeon that does these alot throughout the year. What my question is, does it come back alot between us fellas? We are a different makeup from the normal guy that doesn't use gear. So after you get it removed, does it come back? If so how fast? My personal plastic surgeon (Wife's boss, and family friend) is aware I am on gear from time to time, is ther anything I should point out to him?

Who has had the procedure done and used gear afterward? Can you give me pointers? I am lost when it comes to this and would like to research it fully including you guys.

i would say thats weird that it goes away when you are off gear.. i had mine removed a few years ago, but a little bit came back in my left side.. im not sure if he missed a little or what, but i can feel a few small pieces on the left side... right side it totally free.

it took me about 3 weeks before i was able to hit chest, i just took it light but i would say i was 100% in about 5-6 weeks.

yeah you would of remembered as soon as you came home with that big ass compression bandage around your chest.

im remember i had really bad bruising in my chest and upper ribs.. i think for about 2 months i would say my upper ribs were so damn sore if i touched them.. kinda made me wonder WTF they were doing to me while i was under..hahaha

OOOO, that doesn't sound good. Let alone my wife heading up the operation, I think she'll pull all of her hatred out that day!

I've got a lump in my right side that fluctuates in size and since I'm not doing anything it still changes. It even changed in size from GH. I've thought about having it out but I don't have money or insurance so that's a no go. A close friend of mine had golfball size lumps taken out of both sides and was back training in less than a week. But his doctor wasn't so nice with the stiches as he has these nasty ass scars on his nipples. I would find someone good and if you have a friend they might be extra inclined to do good.

I have had a very, very mild case of it since I hit puberty at 13, and again at 19 ( I went through a growth spurt again, I'm a late bloomer). Anyways, I just have become fed up with dealing with it and the aesthetics of it (it wasn't extremely noticeable to people, but I could see it and sh*t bothered me). Plus I am not a big fan of having to take large amounts of anit-e's, as they are not good on your HDL levels, etc.

I just had the surgery in late Jan. Since I didn't have a bad case there was not much extraction and lipo to do, but I did have some bruising as juice mentioned, but went away quickly. The level of bruising and what not is dependant on the severity of the gyno or not ( unless you have a malicious surgeon hell bent on lipo'ing the hell out you! lol)

I was back lifting chest after two weeks. Still have some very mild pain around the scars but thats it, you can't even tell I had anything done and they look a lot better.....It's worth it if you can get it done IMO.

Never had it and never will. Also never used Ant-E's for that purpose either.

Androgenic side effects like to express themselves in body hair growth for me it seems.

This is the info I was looking for along with Bulldog's. My plastic surgeon is going to go through the arm pit, so there wont be any scarring. He warned me about going through the nipple and said it almost always scars and keloids on men so he doesn't do it that way. He also said mine was fairly small, but he did mention that there is a chance of having an indentation when the cysts are larger. Any dents on anyone?

No Dents. My plastic surgeon stated that that is mainly something you can avoid by keeping in enough tissue behind the nipple to avoid collapse, so it would seem to be up to the skill of the surgeon to make sure this does not happen imo, not sure though.

Kaiser - you're in NY, right?

I have a great plastic surgeon here in NYC. He's been rated by NY MAgazine as one of the tops doctors in NY for the past decade or so. His office is on 5th Ave and he's expensive as heel - but it's your body so it's worth every penny.

He's worked on me before (I had an accident and needed facial reconstruction) and I have ZERO scaring. He did my wife's chest (looks great!), he removed a cancerous lesion on both my dad's face and my mom's neck - both have zero scars.

He's absolutely great and I wouldn't say so if I wasn't 100% confident.

PS - I asked him about my gyno and he said that it was too minimal to operate on since the end result would look as if it had been "manipulated". I say this to show that's he's not a money hungry surgeon who will perform any and all surgeries - wethere needed or not! He's a generally great guy.

He couldn't ensure that it would never come back, but he said if it does it will be extremely small and barely recognizable only by touch. I just told him over and over again to take as much of the glands out as possible without collapsing the nip, that was the last thing I told him before I went under, I think it was like the 400th time or something.
