started crestor yesterday

I have always had bad cholesterol, but always under 300 total. No Joke, yesterday I went to the Doc after 2 months on test and tren and my total was 436, LDL was 331, HDL was 12. My Dr. said he fell out of the chair when he saw this. I've run the cycle before and had about 200 LDL and 30 HDL, bad but not even close to this. MAybe I just got old and can't handle it anymore. I'm a little scared, and the crestor makes me feel like shit.

Talk to your doc and try to work things out.

I've been talking to a few people about this since i have gotten my results back. They say that my total cholesterol is not as bad as theirs were before getting on statins.

1 guy was at 500
And another was at 700+!!!!

Both of them are totally clean too!!!!!

I think my genetics (and old age) are finally catching up to me, so we'll see what the Doc says tomorrow.

I'm not sure any of them are really safe and without side effects, but taking Co-enzyme Q10 when on a statin can help eliminate some of the issues. I've been on Lipitor for more than 5 years now, but take 100 mg of CoQ10 daily.

I take Lovastatin. It's a generic, but it is the first and probably the most researched of all the statins. I would highly recomment it. Start with the lowest dose which is 20 mg. I have had no side effect whatsoever.

I take pravastatin when on cycle. It's one of those $4 for 30 pills Wallmart generic drugs. The main thing they do is lower your LDL(bad cholesterol.) They do nothing for your good cholesterol.(HDL). Another thing that works is ground flax seed. It greatly lowered my triglicerides. Niacin also stops the liver from producing too much cholesterol. Pfizer attempted to develop a drug that would dramatically increase HDL. They had to stop research on it in 2006 because more people were dying on it than on the placebo. They blew almost 1 billion dollars on the research. Merck and another big pharma are working on a different version. If they do develop one, that would virtually end heart disease as a major cause of death. Their profits would be staggering. Anyone with an HDL over 60 has a very low risk of heart disease.
