Damn how do you guys afford to shop at Whole foods..I have my first visit there this past week and Jesus they are high priced..I knew I was in trouble when I saw Thompson seedless grapes at $4.99 a lb..

I guess that was my first and last visit as I'm a bargain shopper. I bought Thompson grapes at Henry's for $.77 a lb later that day

try trader joes brother, much better prices. bananas for .19 a pound.

They definitely cater to the folks that enjoy spending more money for essentially the same stuff you can get much cheaper online or at Trader Joe's.

Yep I bought those the other day..Trader Joe's is a good place..My wife loves the 2 buck chuck.

Yeah a couple of years ago my wife went an organic food only kick. It was expensive as hell. $10.00 for a pound of deli meat, crazy man. It's a shame it costs so much to eat the right things.

I wish they had TradeRs-joe's down here in KY...

Wallmart & Winco.....oh yeah and Costco.

One more: Grocery outlet

It's known around here as, "Whole Pay Check." Overall, the foods are not so much higher quality but people are paying for the name and the service...

ah yes 2 buck chuck is their biggest seller by far with the ladies. if u ever wanna get a number, just browse down their wine aisle, lol........LOTS of women, lol!

their turkey chili and beef chili are freakin amazing too, but a lot of sodium. my favorite though is the turkey meatballs with some swedish gravy.........mmmmmmmm, lol

The quality of Whole Foods is great and it is more expensive. There are a couple things I stock up on when I am there.
When I shop I consider the quality, price.....and whether or not I am worth it!

Jungle Jim's

I think Jungle Jim's in Cincy/Northern KY is like Trader Joe's...I could be wrong here but i think it's similar but i haven't lived in the area for 10 years....

Regarding Whole Foods if you can afford it or want certain things like sushi grade fish it's the place to go. They have the freshest fish unless you have a fresh seafood market close to where you live...don't know much else about it...

Tough:

I've heard Whole Foods called "Whole Paycheck".

I go on occasion but its certainly not a goto store for me as we have quite a few good choices. I could see if it were one of the only places in your town with good quality, but jeez!.

I only shop there when i need certain items that regular grocery stores dont carry. Like grass fed beef, whole milk and ezekial bread. Beside those few items i shop at Kroger.

I call Whole Foods "Whole Paycheck."

I shop there for ground beef, that's it.

Whole Foods in Thousand Oaks & Woodland Hills (CA) have some of the hottest looking cougars around... food is pretty good too. :)

I really like their 365 Brand (whole foods brand) products...and they are typically the same price as other grocery store brands.

i stopped at the Venice Whole foods to get some beef tenderloin for filet mignon. It was 29.95 per lb.I couldn't believe my eyes.I do however buy a few things from there but yes your pockets need to be very deep to shop there exclusively.
