Hi all,
i am puzzled by my current situation so i am hoping some of the more experienced members of this board could tell me whats going on. i am currently 8 weeks into my cycle. i am runnning 1g prop and 150mg anadrol. at first i was getting astonishing gains, but by week 6 i stopped gaining completely. I didnt make ANY progress that week. I decided to take a week off to rest and let my body reccuparate. I went back to the gym last saturday, and yet no gains! I would even say that i noticed a slight decrease in strength. 2 weeks ago i also started running 150 tren EOD and 100 winny EOD. By now my strength should be through the roof, yet i am experiencing absolutely no gains!! My diet is perfect, i am getting 450-500g protein and 550-600g carbs. Whats going on!?

well if your diet is as you say it is and with taking all that gear you definately should be making some progress. Your into week 8 you say? How long was it between this one and your last cycle? Maybe you have bunk gear?

no bro, the gear i am using is 100% legit. its been a little over 2 months...are you suggesting that all of my receptor sites might be filled up?

My gains always platuea at 6-8 weeks. So, I run a good cycle for that amount of time, then drop down to just 200-300 mg of test for a few months and start over after that.

Way to much gear and to few calories. That cycle is enough for almost three people. If your calories are high then you'll gain weight period. Keep your protein high also and you'll be sure to put on some muscle.

agree with this, but i start dieting to get fat off and then im ready to go hard again. have u increased cals from the time u started to now? if u gained alot of weight u have to increase cals too.

You may plateau like BBJ said. If you got big gains all the time just from keeping doseage up, everyone would be a monster. At the point I plateau 6-8wks I start dropping the test a tad and switching to so-called cutting orals
and injectables like EQ/Fina.

Once you hit a certain point, plateua, you may be stuck there for a while, no matter how much gear you take. I gained alot of size last year and plateud after a few cycles, my weight wouldnt go over 255 but I did notice changes in the mirror as I was getting harder as my body adapted to holding the weight. Its your body way of trying to reach homeostasis, it doesnt want to gain weight like that. So most likely you will hold this weight for a few more months before more gains on the scale come. You might want to try playing around with your diet and calorie intake and carbs t osee how that works for you.

I am not sure I understand what you are saying.

You are saying that your strength didn't go up for one week so you think you are stuck?

Then you say that you are getting no gains. What gains do you mean strength? Weight?

Too long on the same gear! Perfect world... switch about every four weeks to different gear. I can't get into everything here... should have had tren in there at the beginning in my opinion. One serious question to all board guys... Who do you know that has a medical back ground that uses gear and that has applied their knowledge and experience to bodybuilding? Most steroid stuff is voodoo science, a book here and an internet site there. Be carefeul... that's why this board is a great source!

correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the body will actually produce more receptor sites (upregulating) when doses are ran lower for a longer period of time as opposed to high doses for short or long periods of time.

I don't know if I really buy into that whole receptor-site-downgrade theory. I say that because, back in the day, me and my buddies would run Sustanon year round and we still made gains throughout. We would throw in some Winny or some Primo (if we had enuf $$$), and that was our summer stack. In the winter we would just add some more calories, maybe some EQ b/c it was cheap. All in all though, from 1988 to 1994 Sustanon was the "base" for everyone I worked out with - and the gains kept coming.

But, I find that sometimes I need a break from training. You wrote that you took a week off hulk, I am suprised that break didn't "re-energize" you. What if you threw in an oral like dbol for a few weeks - just to get you over the hump? Or, can your gear be aromatizing? Maybe some Nolva to prevent the estrogen from screwing you?

Just some thoughts...

I agree. I don't know your cycle history, but that's a lot of gear IMO. And 2 months off is not long enough.

i agree too much gear and not enough calories... just make sure they are good calories. at 5'9" I got up to 270 without using anything.... sure i was a fat bastard but also once i cut up i retained more muascle than i had ever had.

I also agree. Too much gear, too little calories.

It's not rocket science, eat more food!

I will also add that I think receptor downregulation is a crock of shit.

i meant neither. both my strength and my weight stayed the same. and it has actually been 2 weeks with absolutely no progress.

i am definitely going to up my calorie intake, though all i do is eat all day long anyway. after doing some more research on the subject, i learned that in order to maintain homeostasis your body starts to produce SHBG, an enzyme that attaches to the free testosterone molecule, therefore preventing it from connecting to the muscle receptor site. this really sucks because i was planning to stay on gear for good 6-8 months. so i guess now i should decide whether i should stop running gear completely and start over in a few months or wait for a few weeks and see if i start gaining again?

for this reason i run 5 week cycles. By week 5 my gains slow and i can only consume so much food so i take a few weeks off and hit it back again. Gains are very steady.
