I just wanted to drop a quick line about my experience thus far working with Phil. It has been almost a month and in this time i have dropped 5-6 pounds and have kept all my size, just getting leaner each day and GAINING strength!! And VERY minimal cardio :)

Phil will be the first to say that i ask A LOT of questions and quite frankly his methods on nutrition are completely backwards to everything i've read or been taught. For years i have weighed each meal to the gram, ate every 2-3 hours and never really made the gains i expected putting that much effort into my nutrition. However, in the last 4 weeks I've stopped weighing my food so precisely and stop overanalyzing the "small stuff" and i am really starting to see why so many people on this board that have worked with Phil have gotten great results! He responds to every question literally within minutes.

I know i'm only a month into this, but at this rate i can't wait to see what i look like in 12 weeks. Thanks Phil for teaching me the TRUE way to eat to gain muscle/ loose fat.

Will do. I plan on posting some before/after pics once we are into the program a good 12 weeks.

I learned more from you than you did from me! You really opened up my eyes to how good these LBAs were.......beyond what I originally thought.
 
He saved me from the "tabloid" bodybuilding magazine diets and routines and gave me a program that WORKS.

i look and feel better than i ever have in my life and its no hocus pocus crap. his experience and methods are bad ass. -STEELE



What is shocking more than anyting is the fact that i use to do EVERYTHING by the book..you name it I've done it. I've worked with a few popular trainers on the forums, and i made some improvements but never got the results i expected.

And for the first time in my training career i have literally let loose..threw everything I've ever learned out the window, and just do as Phil says.

I won't lie it is difficult to not eat based on the clock, i almost felt guilty not eating every 3 hours, as if i was going to loose muscle every second i didn't eat lol.

Bottom line, its time to start LOOKING like a bodybuilder and i can feel i will be there very soon

It doesn't just stop with training.

In my time as a Phil Hernon client I have learned more about training, nutrition, and myself then the 20years previous. Phil is an elite bodybuilder and trainer but that really only scratches the surface of what he consists off. Phil just happened to of chosen this field but it was already in the cards that whatever he did or does he will succeed at. As he likes to say Genetics if you will. I am proud to call myself a friend and client of Phils and my wife who he also trains feels the same way. I am confident that under his guidance we will both have very successful bodybuilding/figure campains in 2009.

yea that all great and everything but i still think you should squat full range of motion.:)
 
For the guys out there working with Phil, if you have any good meal ideas or recipes please PM. I'm sure we are all allowed the same type of foods just different amounts per person.

Phil or DC would be the two I would choose from! I have heard SO many things from trainees of Phil and DC! Going back to school again have sent funds down the crapper. I am SERIOUSLY thinking about going in debt for a brief period so I can train with Phil for the year though.

Very wise choice my friend! Just do yourself a favor and execute the plan he gives you to a tee...and i KNOW you will want to question some of it,becuase its completely against what you've read or been taught. Just listen and you won't be disappointed!

Quick update my decline bench went up 25 pounds from last workout..never thought i'd be gaining strength while loosing bodyfat.
