Okay, it doesn't really have to be 10 but list 5-10 songs (or albums) that have had a major impact on your life or resonate with you in a very deep way. I'm not talking about the latest growling metal band who's name you won't know in 3 years but the music that year after year, still holds a special place with you.
These don't have to be your favorite songs at the moment or maybe ever but left an impression on you.
For instance, here are 10 of mine in no particular order:
1. Mercy Street - Peter Gabriel
2. Thirty Three - Smashing Pumpkins
3. Pictures of You - The Cure
4. Fake Plastic Trees - Radiohead
5. Simon and Garfunkel - The Boxer
6. Don't Think Twice It's Alright - Bobby Dylan
7. Fly From Heaven - Toad The Wet Sprocket
8. Run - Snow Patrol
9. Angels or Devils - Dishwalla
10. The Boy With The Thorn In His Side - The Smiths
They don't have to be workout songs but surely can be. Can be anything. And it doesn't have anything to do with being cool and trying to impress - hell, I almost added Kenny Rogers' Coward of the County! Beat that! But I remember singing along to that song with my parents when we were on roadtrips when I was a boy.
