Hello everyone.
I was not sure where to post this, so mods feel free to move it to a more appropriate section.
I've noticed that many members have problems when trying to post pictures on the forums. Sometimes they are too large, sideways, posted as links, etc...
Here's a simple tutorial on how to do it the right way.
1 - If you need to rotate or manipulate your picture, download Paint Net from here:
Paint.NET - Download
You'll be able to resize and rotate your image under the "image" menu.
1 - Upload your picture to this image hosting website:
Postimage.org - free image hosting / image upload
2 - If you didn't use Paint Net to resize your pic, resize it now to 800x600 which is a good size for forums.
3 - Click "family safe" and "upload it".
4 - Copy the "direct link" to your clipboard.
5 - Paste the link to your message here between IMG tags. Example [ img ]https://s10.postimg.org/i817b8tqh/kev3.jpg[ /img ] with no spaces between the "img" tags and the "[ ]". The result will be this:
**broken link removed**
If you think 800x600 is too large, you may choose 640x480, which will show up like this:
**broken link removed**
Click on preview post and if it looks good to you, submit your message.
You can also use the IMG tag for random pictures found on the internet, but you won't be able to manipulate it's size. To do so, save the picture and follow the steps above.
Hope this helps.
