Captain Crunch Alternative!!!!

I found a cereal that taste almost identical to Captain Crunch Peanut Butter ( I loved this stuff when i was a kid). I got it at Harris Teeter (Charlotte NC). Im sure most of the grocery stores carry it. I copied the link to it. If you like this type of cereal its not as bad as the regular. Its called Barbaras Bakery Puffins, there good to snack on.

what's a good ceral to take for cholestrol? I know oatmeal is good for you but I hate the texture, to me it's like eating paste (I guess that's what the texture of paste would be like)

I put 2 scoops of quick oats in my protein drink. If you drink it upon diluting, it has texture and isn't soggy. I like it. 2scoops quick oats, 2scoops ON whey protein tropical punch....yummy

cool thanks, I use to do this also-but I hated the way the oats would always settle to the bottle of the blender

Grind them in a coffee grinder first.

You're welcome! The quick oats are easy to get down. The regular oats make me gag. I swirl my cup before each drink so the oats aren't at the bottom.

It is what I've been doing. Was going full oats, and got tired of the texture...through them in my coffee grinder...wholla...powder!

as a cheat meal, I ate a whole box of captain crunch just a couple days ago! God I love that stuff!!! My gf thought I was crazy/didn't think I can do a whole box in one sitting! HAH! CCPB used to be breakfast,lunch and dinner for me! I felt so nostalgic eating my cereal brought back memories even had to put in my dragon ball series to watch!

insted of oatmeal in my shakes i use cream of wheat but it still settles at the bottom a bit but not as bad as oatmeal

Those puffins are great. I also like to get the hole-n-oats cereal sometimes as well.

But as far as cereal goes:

1) Cap'N Crunch
2) Oreo Oh's
3) Reese's Puffs
4) Waffle Crisp/Ego Crisp
5) Fruity Pebbles

And a big nod to honey comb, rice krispie treats, and corn pops.
