Journey to the 2013 North American's

What I ate today:

Meal 1
4 whole cage free eggs
1/2 tbsp coconut oil

Meal 2
50g whey
1tbsp natty pb
1 cup unsweetened almond milk

Meal 3
8oz ground turkey
1 cup rice

Meal 4
7oz grass fed beef
1 cup rice

Meal 5
50g whey
1tbsp natty pb
1 cup unsweetened almond milk

Meal 6
2 wild caught salmon patties
1 cup rice

is this a non training day day example? interesting you have carbs later on in the day. whats the theory behind that?

Yes this was a non training day. This is something John and I came up with after a few tweaks here and there. We actually had even more carbs later in the day before but I wanted to cut some out to drop a little bodyfat

Hopefully we'll be able to up my carbs soon with me getting fat

Speed bench/shoulder workout tonight:

Bench- 8 sets of 3 with 65% max
DB side laterals- 4 sets of 8 (heavy)
Rear felt fly- 25,20,15,12,9
Cage press- sets of 3 working to a max single
 
John Meadow's back workouts are always deceptively difficult. I read them and think "that's it? Doesn't look too bad" and half way through I'm thinking "this sh*t sucks!" lol

Banded hammer flat press

Incline barbell
Sets of 4, worked up to 309
Reverse band bench
5x3 with 397
Reverse band cgbp
5x4 with 331
Tricep push down with Grip4orce

I love the banded hammer strength. The contraction and blood into the pecs is INSANE.

Where are the updates?

Been busy lately, haven't had a chance to come on here much.

Weight is holding around 205, this is probably the heaviest I'm going to get this year, trying to lean up a bit and maintain this weight right now.
 
----Diet update----

Currently trying to drop some bodyfat so I'm only eating carbs pre, intra and post workout on training days

Non training days I'm carb backloading but with clean food, so first 3 meals no carbs, last 3 meals I add carbs in

150g carbs on training days
100g carbs on non training days
(roughly)

Its not that bad man, heres pretty much what I'll eat today:

Meal 1
4 whole eggs

Meal 2
(protein brownies)
2 scoops whey
1/3 cup egg whites
1tbsp coco powder
1tbsp sugar free pudding mix

Meal 3
7oz chicken (cooked)
1oz almonds

Meal 4
7oz grass fed beef (raw)
veggies

Meal 5 (pre WO)
2 scoops whey
1/2 cup oats
1tbsp natty PB

Meal 6 (intra WO)
25g bcaa
35g vitargo (arm day so less carbs)

Meal 7 (post WO)
2 extra lean turkey patties
1 cup rice


BUT YES I DO GET HUNGRY LOL
