Hello guys.
Any of you have tried this diet mentioned above?
It seems a good and healthy diet to shred fat and stay healthy.
I need to re-balance my self and my gut has some issue as IBS and i have alwais the belly so soft and like a ballon.
So i would give to this diet a try and follow it for some months and see.

Im not familiar with it BUT knowing Meadows, it'll be effective as he understands basic thermodynamics and nutrient timing/density.

Is it a basic approach or is it customized based on the person?

Omg 6 whole eggs a day! Whoever does it is gonna die of heart disease from poor cholesterol!!!

Looks like a great diet to me

Funny thing is that it's similar to my bulking diet haha. Only difference is some extra carbs from an intra drink on training days.

I feel like "get leaner" means different things to different groups. For a common slob it would mean get skinny like a bitch but for a legit lifter it would mean add lean muscle and drop some fat. The food/cals do seem excessive and I'm around 220lbs, I feel like I wouldn't be able to eat all of it. Maybe it's just the variation of foods and frequency of meals making it seem that way though.

I like it, it's simple with nothing too funky!

I have worked with John 2 times in the past. You will get great results. The above mentioned diet is not even close to the one he put together for me. He really listens to you and customizes all his diets. Money well spent.

I'm about 185 now and that is a "lean mass gain" diet for me.

I'm a little surprised at how little green vegetables are included though.

While I certainly wouldn't argue with Mr. Meadows I prefer a very low fat diet when getting lean. I think it boils down to calories but for me a low fat diet is easier to maintain.

I'll say this. I'm 220lbs like in the example and those are pretty much exactly the macros and number of calories that work best for me when I'm trying to get leaner and not lose muscle (on just TRT).

I'm 230 and that diet would make me gain IMO.

Might give it a go lol.

that's sample is ALOT of food...

Just remember......6oz of shrimp "Shelled". Otherwise you'll be off by close to 50% of you macros of protein in the meal. Unless you want to eat the shells and add chitosan to your macros ;)

lol....shells don't weight that damn much....

what i have found is.....when you use frozen shrimp....the water
adds LOTS of weight...

so i started just adding the macros from shrimp....per shrimp.

a large shrimp is about 2 grams protein.

Hey...every gram of protein counts when you want to look "jacked"! ;)

"4 one ounce raw shrimp in the shell, yield after cooking w/ shell removed is:

20 calories, 0g fat, 0g carbs, 4g protein, 20 mg cholesterol, 88 mg sodium

But before u get all excited, compare that to data for 1-oz canned tuna (water pack):

33 calories, 0g fat, 0g carbs, 7g protein, 9 mg cholesterol, 96 mg sodium

So u see shrimp has less sodium than tuna & u never see anybody worried about the sodium in tuna.

Bottom Line: Shrimp is an excellent protein choice, as long as u can afford it."
