I think this diet actually looks pretty good but the calories seem a little high for someone 220 unless they are at a low body fat. I'm 250lbs 15% and this would seem like a good diet for me. I'd include one re feed day with high carbs very low fat but essentially this looks like a very good heart healthy diet.
This is...
Have you ever tried a carb cycling diet?
Also, for those of you who think 3000 calories is too much for a cutting diet, look at the types of calories being consumed here. Unless you subscribe to the "calorie is a calorie" bs, these are the healthiest kinds of calories you can consume and some of them have fat loss properties too.
Diet doesn't mean much alone, what's the training like?
I lost fat when I was a 21 year old natural on 3000 calories a day going from 210lbs to 180lbs. I was eating so much more than 3000 before I started that diet so it was actually a drastic reduction in calories for me at the time, which might have played a part.
While I certainly wouldn't argue with Mr. Meadows I prefer a very low fat diet when getting lean. I think it boils down to calories but for me a low fat diet is easier to maintain.
regardless of weight/ stats/ adn what not I am curious to know whther I am the only one who thinks that diet is very high in fats regardless of efas or whatever I mean it is still above 100gms of fat
Shelby Starnes said on a podcast recently he eats around 150g of fat per day right now, or something around that much. If you think high healthy fats make you fat, you are stuck in the 90s my friend.
