thoughts on simple sugary cereal post workout

Honestly, the easiest recomp I've ever done. I basically do this sporadically during the summer—


Non Workout Day
Protein or P/F meals

Workout Day
Protein or P/F all your meals before your workout.
1 decent sized aminos + carb powder intrashake
1 large box of kids cereal.
Go back to Protein or P/F meals.

That EVEN WITH just TRT and a bit of GH will mold you.
 
yup that's just about what im doing now. that's my last carbs for the day though. the rest of the day is pro/fats
 
Cereal post-w/o always worked great for me when I was younger...then I started over-complicating things:rolleyes::D

When I was starting out, I followed a lot of what Duchaine wrote, and he was a big Alpha Bits fan, so I was too:headbang: Then they stopped making them:(

I'm more of a banana nut crunch, cocoa crispies, oatmeal/brown sugar squares, and fruit loops guy now. They work great, but nothing like the Alpha Bits did...way more anabolic and huge GAINZ:cool:

Alpha Bits are still around.. they only took them off the market for while, came back a bunch of years ago
 
I am a Quaker oatmeal cinnamon square man myself when it comes to my post workout meal. It's roughly 90g of carbs (420 calories) + 2 scoops hydrolyzed whey protein from TN and I am good to go. It has worked great for cutting and bulking.

Lucky charms in liquid egg whites instead of milk was my GO TO for the longest time before I started with this coach and he took it away loo

People think I am crazy when I say use eggs whites as the milk but they take on the taste of the cereal you put them in . easily 50 grams of protein along with your replenishing sugar. Perfect post workout meal.

Yep, I first saw Matt Porter doing this. Works very well, indeed.

Exactly what I do for my typical post workout shake.

500g egg whites, 100g chocolate rice chex
 
I like to use vanilla protein mixed in water as my milk.

To me, vanilla works well with anything.

Sometimes I use coconut milk instead.

I haven't used cereal in a long time post-WO...but if I did, my choices would be Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Reese's Puffs, Chocolate Chex (these are so freaking delicious, gotta try them if you haven't), and Honey Nut Cheerios.

I don't know about Honey nut Chex but Honey nut Cheerios are THE SHIT!!
