I am going to be opening my own gym in the next year, starting to put together list of stuff I might have forgotten. So what is your Favorite gym equipment of all time (machine and brand)??? Not looking for a complete line of equipment, but just that ONE piece of equipment that you loved, fit your body perfect, really made you feel it. For me, that old school BODYMASTER Chest press when I am on my last exercise for chest, to really bring that burn in and finish off the chest. How about you?

Old school (pre 1980) Nautilus leg extension. The one with the big fat non adjustable ankle pad.
you got the idea of the thread, thank you. I agree that old nautilus leg extension was awesome. The new ones, never fit the body right.

Hammer all kinds- i am pretty sure that will win apart from obvious free weights.
yes we know hammer strength is good equipment, and free weights is not "equipment"....think of that one piece you loved. Think of that old school gym you worked out in, that one piece you looked forward too.

hammer strength pin selected leg curl. I’m 5’7” and that’s the one that fit the best.
Those benches with the swing arms that put the weight right over your chest. Such an easy unrack when your moving big weight and saves the shit out of your shoulders. I’d kill for one at home.

Not sure if I have ever seen the benchs with swing arms...going to have to take a look at that.

Haha i know. That’s awesome having that many
Gym is going to be geared toward Bodybuilding and powerlifting...obviously anyone can work out there...but no juice bars, no tanning, no classes...NO BULLSHIT. Will also have chalk bowels, and garage doors that open on nice days!!!! woo hoooo

For legs = Roger's Hip Press, Body Master's CX Series Super Leg Extension, Nebula Prone Leg Curl

For Chest = Strive Plate Loaded Incline Press, DynaBody Standing Press

Back = Strive Plate Loaded Extreme Row, Magnum Bi-Angular Seated Row, Nautilus Xplode Pulldown

I could keep going but these are my favorites at the moment

Interesting...I always hated the strive equipment. Are you talking about the strive equipment where you can add plates at different points in the movement?..normally like 3 locations I think.

Yes, I think they are great. Even there stack loaded stuff uses the same concepts. they made a side lateral machine that is killer too

Arsenal Strength has some great stuff too

But the prime fitness machines seem to be most popular now due to being able to increase the load at different points

I might have to give them another try one day....it as been YEARS and YEARS since I have used one.
