Gotta admit he's pretty spot on tho!
Okay, I'll bite.
Yea, I get that, 100%, but . . . when viewed through the lens of history
you cannot ignore the fact that every older generation has said that
about every younger generation. Not the exact same thing but pretty
damn close. It's the old 'I used to walk five miles to school every day
. . . in the snow' mentality.
In all aspects of culture you will see that. The arts, literature, sports,
technology, etc.. Hell, even in relationships, romance, and sexual mores.
And what is even more revealing it that we are saying that about the
current younger crop of bodybuilder . . . they don't work as hard, diet
as hard, rely too much on chemicals. Oh well, get used to it. With few
exceptions (think Japan), it ain't going back the way it was.
You gotta go with the flow. You can't hold back the sands of time forever.
Every new generation brings it's own set of challenges and . . . and perhaps,
just perhaps, if we all live long enough, we will see the younger generation
that we speak of so fondly of here, will be saying the same we are saying
about the generation that succeeds them.
Be happy, it's called perspective, that's all I'm sayin'.
