Hey guys im 19 years old, 6'0 tall, about 245lbs, 13% BF, I want to start getting into strongman training and hopefully in a few years do some competitions, I was just wondering what you think my potential is here our my current lifts.

Barbell Bench Flat - 405 x 1 , 315 x 12 , 365 x 5
Barbell Bench Incline - 315 x 2, 225x12 , 265 x 6
Barbell Bench Decline - 315 x 10 , 365 x 4

Barbell Bent Over Rows - 315 x 6
Squat - 450 x 5
Deadlift - 405 x 8 (havent really tried max)
Leg Press - 1400 x 2
Barbell Curl - 155 x 1

Lat Pulldowns - 220 x 7 (cant remmember exact weight but almost the whole machine)

I think thats about it folks, im all natural, i currently just started a very low dose cycle of test because I hit a plateau, Ive been training for about 3 years heavy and solid.
 
For 19 i would say good work and you are on your way...
Damn, i wish my head wasnt elsewhere at that young age...

Very impressive! For strongman you'll want to focus on getting that lower body and back strength up though (squats and deads). You are a bit behind there. Upper body strength looks good though. How are you with overhead pressing movements?

Great lifts but starting test at 19 to me is WAYYYYYY to early. Low dose or not I think you should reconsider. With numbers like that natural you are far from tapped out. Be patient you have all the time in the world.
 
Great start, as mentioned, focus on back, leg and overhead strength. also keep flexability and mobility. Strongman is really not about how strong u are. u have to train everything-strength, strength endurance, functional strength, mobilty speed... find a group of guys in ur area and start training the actual lifts once a week. and visit this site for the best info on strongman training- www.marunde-muscle.com

Yeah, there is no need to wait to compete in strongman. Like b_b said, find a training group in your area and start training the events. Go to www.nastrongman.com and post on The Anvil that you are looking for training partners. That's how I found mine. I only trained events 5 time before my first contest and tied for second in the open division. Many contests have a teen and novice division so you can go get your feet wet.

Stop talking about competing and go do it! And stay off the AAS for now, you don't need them.

Good point?????? I also hear that a lot of professional athlete's juice so I'm going to give my nephew a shot before his next T ball game. That's horrible advice.

That's not the point. He's too young for it and should build up a good natural base. He's doing great but needs to patient. I have never seen anyone who started that young have a long career. They always burn themselves out way too soon. He needs stay natural and give it a few years, he has plenty of time to get more involved later.
 
no point in juicin yet like a few others said. u can get those lifts up there. swithc up the routine a little bit get some training partners your on ur way bro. keep it up
