My current quad day, as I separate quads from hammys...and do hammys almost every day at the end of workout - touch up on them. But, here is gist of quad day:
Leg Ext: 4 sets - 16,12,10,8 (increasing load, controlling tempo)
Squat: 4 sets - 16,12,10,8 (increasing load)
Hack Squat: 4 sets - 16,12,10,8 (increasing load, controlling tempo)
Machine Leg Press: 4 sets - pump the hell out my quads, always changing the foot placing
Leg Ext: 2 sets - 30, 30 (cooldown, lol)
I know nothing special, but bringing the intensity!
Hey mate, Do you do 4 total sets for each of the first 3 exercises or 4 Work sets not including warm-ups sets? Or are the first 3 sets on each exercise the warm-ups and 1 work set of 8 reps?

Just does not look like you gave that much to lose! Will you have to deplete and then step on stage significantly heavier? Or will you just eat the muscle loss?
