last nite i experimented with combining 2 exercises into 1. i set up on the smith machine as if to do a squat. i got under the bar and released the wt holding it low on my traps, standing up on the balls of my feet as if doing a standing calve press. i then went down till my ass hit my calves still arched on the balls of my feet, thus pushing my knees slightly forward as if i was doing a sissy squat, waiting 2 seconds, then proceeded upward to the calve press stance. after about 10 reps and 3 sets my teardrop was pump as well as my calves. walking across the floor my leggs felt very weak. i had also done about 4sets of legg press and 3 sets of leg extensions before this , but it was the last exercise that weakend me. it was hard going up my front steps at home and today the teardrop is sore as well as my calves.
has anyone else combined 2 exercises together and got some good results?
