Looks like over 600 lbs, impressive! Makes my old back hurt now just to watch it. I wonder how his back feels now more than 20 years later. Going heavy screwed up mine.
Dude is still strong as hell. He truly puts in the work if you ever watch his training videos. Trains a lot with powerlifters, still, too.
What I still wanna know is how the hell he maintains on how (comparatively) little he eats! And John definitely doesn't strike me as a guy running reckless amounts.
He was only about 25 years old then too, would have gotten stronger after that.John was a strong man.
