I would like to see everyones individual methods of drying out when it comes to competition. I am doin my own contest prep cause i dont think its worth spendin 400 bucks when im 20 and not on the national level yet.
These are the things that seemed to make the most sense to me. . . ( by pretorian on musclechem.)
sunday start prescrip diuretics 25 mg am+25mg pm (aldactone)+1 gallon water
monday same diuretics plus eca 2 twice a day + 1.5 gallons
tuesday same diret plus eca 3 times / day + 2 gallons
wednesday same d eca 4 times / day + 2.5 gallons
thursday same d eca 5 times per day + 3 gallons
friday same d eca 6 times / day +4 gallons stop water at 4 pm continue taking diuretics with every meal and keep the same plan with the aldactone am and pm
Sodium load starts saturday week out until wednesday...no sodium thursday onwards
Carb load wednesday and thursday...high wed..lower thurs...no carbs friday until dry...then you can eat almost anything..pizza is great! Just dont gorge yourself...2 slices is best with some gatorade and 5 iu slin...look out!
