I would like to see everyones individual methods of drying out when it comes to competition. I am doin my own contest prep cause i dont think its worth spendin 400 bucks when im 20 and not on the national level yet.

These are the things that seemed to make the most sense to me. . . ( by pretorian on musclechem.)

sunday start prescrip diuretics 25 mg am+25mg pm (aldactone)+1 gallon water
monday same diuretics plus eca 2 twice a day + 1.5 gallons
tuesday same diret plus eca 3 times / day + 2 gallons
wednesday same d eca 4 times / day + 2.5 gallons
thursday same d eca 5 times per day + 3 gallons
friday same d eca 6 times / day +4 gallons stop water at 4 pm continue taking diuretics with every meal and keep the same plan with the aldactone am and pm
Sodium load starts saturday week out until wednesday...no sodium thursday onwards
Carb load wednesday and thursday...high wed..lower thurs...no carbs friday until dry...then you can eat almost anything..pizza is great! Just dont gorge yourself...2 slices is best with some gatorade and 5 iu slin...look out!

I haven't mastered this so I really can't say anything "for sure."

Wylde's post on water intake is much different timing than this.

Thats a bit longer than you need for aldactone.

If you've never played with sodium, at extremely low BF levels, I wouldn't mess with it right before a contest.

Your shitload doesn't sound like what zilla and skip outline - there's a post here about shitloading also.

I'm not saying this won't work for you, I'm just saying it's somewhat different than I've done.

Do as you wish - your original info in post was not written by skip, even though it's from his board. Like I stated, the shitload and water is not what zilla stated in the first shitload post I mentioned. Zilla is the original author of shitload. Read the entire thread.

I also said what you outlined may work for you. It just doesn't sound like any advice I've seen. The best is to do a trial run before the contest.

Im not trying to say anyone is wrong, im just tryin to get a better understanding on the info. I just dont wanna pay that much for prep, then end up in 3rd place and feel like i just wasted a whole bunch of my time and money. I have to decide on being late on my car payment, or payin for contest prep before Jan 1st, for the ONLY person id pay and trust would get me lookin the best i could. DPS, i think your right though. Information and a lesson that would last a lifetime is probably well worth it.
 
I dont like your plan bc you are carb depleting and maybe you will get water retention with the 4 gallons of water.
I like the old way, and is more safe to avoid mistakes.

I carb deplete for 10 days and carb up from monday to friday 400-500-600-700 and shitload friday all day but with a better diuretic like diazide or moduretic every 8 hours, and drinking the water i need to get my real weight and shape.

Aldactone doesnrt work to everybody and you cand get soft, maybe if you need it you can take aldactone 6 to 10 days and swicht to diazyde or moduretic wenesday to saturday.
