51 y.o.

RIP Bambi.

Some parts of his life may have been controversial, he'll nontheless remain one of the greatest artists ever.

I head he had a heart attack , is it confermed that he checked out?

Yes just heard it on the news. Unbelievable!

RIP

This passing is much more shocking than Ed McMahon's or Farrah's. It was sudden with no news of illness. Like him or not he had an influence on our culture and lives.

:(

i cannot believe it

I agree JC,
His music touched generations of people and made millions happy. Sad day for the entertainment world. :(

Yes, This is terrible. This guy has been my favorite singer, dancer, entertainer since i was a little kid. Dammit there are too many people dieing way too young!

At least we wont hear how it was gear related. I remember having his records and tapes when I was younger. Still love the music.

Although I was never a fan of his music, nor his lifestyle...I still give props for the gift of music that he brought into others lives. RIP MJ

he died at the hospital i work out.. it is for real.. theres practically a riot outside.. reporters and helicopters.. hysterical people everywhere..

Allegedly he was having issues with perscription medications in the near past... Heath Leadger now Michael Jackson.. If your taking prescription meds... Please be careful and aware.....

Like him or not! He was a major influence in Music. As big or bigger then Elvis was.

All I can say on the day of his death......the world lost a true genious today.

The people he reached, the generations he gapped, the talent he shared. it's a shame he seemed so troubled.

No his father has said he was very ill.He was trying to rehearse for a 50 date tour, but due to health problems he was having trouble rehearsing and preparing. He has had a long battle with pain meds,Elizabeth Taylor has put him in rehab a few times to try help him.RIP

RIP the king of pop and an icon of the last century. It's a shame he was into drugs, take care of your mind and body people you only get one!!

Actually if Lou Ferrigno was training him the rumor may come up.

he was 50, and its a shame. he went through alot. i grew up listening to his music. sure he was a freak of nature in ways, but his music was one of the best in the day.

I'll remember him for his music and video game. As a person, he can rot in hell.

the guy had a huge addiction to painkillers, probably had something to do with it. And many of the gear related deaths, actually I'd say 90% of them, the guys were using recreational crap too
