Im 25 so I know im young but naturally have low IGF levels. Range was like 140-380 and I was only 160. Maybe 3iu's ED could be safe
Diabetes doesnt worry me much b/c my glucose levels always come back good in bloodwork, but i'll keep an eye on them.
Yeh in theory it would make perfect sense that exogenous GH would give u diabetes but the real world results luckily are surprisingly few..
However, just for your knowledge,
GH and insulin are somewhat opposite.. When you put GH in your body, it inhibits insulin and at the same time extracts glucose from liver and fat and makes it enter the bloodstream. Now if you take GH right around a meal then ur blood glucose levels are high, but ur insulin level will be low (because of inhibition of insulin) which would create the same environment as in a diabetics body. Over a period of time, you might starts seeing diabetic sideeffects like neuropathy in the feet and hands maybe. So whether u get diabetes or not, GH will hurt ur body a lil bit
Sometimes i feel like the people complaning bout carpal tunnels syndrome adn tingling in wrist is probably from the excess blood glucose and not carpal tunnel itself.
But who knows..so many people are taking it and no one is complaining.
Yet..
HGH will also mess with the feedback of other pituitary hormones. I know a mod from other board whose husband took HGH and his thyroid blew out, and now he is on life long thyroid medication.
Sorry i am not trying to sound like a smart ass, but just wanted to let you know both sides.. Often times on BBing boards people only talk about the pros and severely downplay the cons..
I myself have wanted to take HGH several times. but i wont. I feel like AAS is much more safer at a low dose then hormones such as HGH, IGF, slin.
JMO. However good luck with what u decide.do waht you have to do to get big and lean. I do rather live ten less years in a body i am comfortable with then in one that i m not. Cause i know i ll die in peace.. good luck..
