Anyone else get their ass kicked by the most recent Flu Virus

I am 10 days into this new Flu virus going around. I can barely stand, type, talk, drink and eating is out of the question. In 10 days.........I have lost 21lbs according to my Drs scale yesterday afternoon. Anyone else watching themselves deteriorating with no recourse? LOL. I'm getting discouraged....I thought the day was the day for my comeback but I don't feel any better than I did 5 days ago.

What the hell do you think I've been doing all weekend? I have been sick twice this year which is more than the last decade. I did nothing all weekend. Everyone around here is sick, half the office, and some of the older folks are getting pneumonia from it.

I shared the proverbial bathroom tiled floor with you my friend. So much for the bulking weight I gained. 10 new lbs gone with 10 more I didn't have to spare..............goddammitttttttttttttttt. What part of the country are you in? It is like one of those movies like Dawn of the Dead here.......spreading like wildfire.

Question(to everyone): If you were running a cycle during this kind of knockout punch......would you stop until you were healthy again?

As soon as I felt it comming on, I Zicam'd the shit out of it until I felt it start to get better which was about 24 hours. That stuff works.

I have heard the same, last 2 weeks. I am staying away from people! If its a virus, Zpack won't do anything, just have to ride it out. sux.

It is carving its way thorugh MA right now too. I am at 10 days and was just able to put some solid food away this afternoon. That was nice. i sem to have put a couple pound back on....been hitting the protein shakes while awaiting the green light for solids...that helped a bit. Heck...at least the colon is cleaned out now.......LOL.

I have a confession to make........I did a bi workout at lunch. If I have to be at work.......I should at least be able to do a little something. LOL

And "Ouch".........I DID "push on through".....this morning to be exact. LOL.

Damn Chris, me too and I'm in Iowa as well. Past 3 days have been horrible for me. I'm sure I've lost around 10 lbs, but I'm too scared to weigh myself.

didnt know we were that clsoe chris im from a town in ill close to galesburg and peoria. yeah the flu bug crossed the mississippi river with no problems

no. you would need the anabolism to attack the catabolism and high cortisol and estrogen levels while you are in your caloric defecit and mineral/vitamin deficiencies to preserve lbm

Man, now days I swear by Zycam! THat stuff works really really well! I've been sick twice this year and was through it in like.....48 hours. Asthma cough didn't come back(usually does) or anything! Zycam is the sheeet! -StOrY

try Liquid Acidophilus. Put good bacteria in to help fight off the bad. Works wonders for me. Others out of work 3-5 days. I'm back with 1 day down.
