I was thinking on a new routine. and was wondering if anyone here has done same or something similar. And what you think about results from it.

OK I only workout Monday through Friday. Maybe a Saturday if I miss a week day. And was thinking doing.
Monday =2 exercises for each body part except legs. Example chest 2 exercises then back 2 exercises shoulders 2 exercises and so on. Except legs. Then Tuesday just legs. Wedsday rest maybe cardio and abs. Thursday same as Monday. And Friday legs again. Saturday Sunday rest.

I'm 46 years young. I normally do the regular Monday chest tris, Tuesday back bis, Wednesday legs, Thursday shoulders traps, Friday light high reps of a little bit of every body part except legs.

Which you would prefer?

Like an upper Lower split?

I used to use lats version (story time with lats thread) which was basically upper Lower, 3 exercises per body part, with sort of a rest pause set. Little more to it than that.

I’d do that 6 days a week and I got really great results.

When I was off steroids I’d do 4 days a week instead.

Give it a shot and report back. I prefer high intensity, low volume personally.

I like that idea, especially if say Monday’s two chest exercises are different from Thursday’s two chest exercises....I’m actually going to try that lol....maybe even lower rep higher weight one day, then higher rep, lower weight the next time....

Yea exactly right. Keep rotating different exercises for the body part

I actually could get into to that heavier 1 set per part instead of the typical 3 sets each....thanks for posting that up!



I loved it. I was going six days a week with my training partner and we were killing it. Put on some really solid mass. I might give it a go again.
