Bad headaches behind eye - high BP?

I've been getting pretty bad headaches behind my eye and in the temple area for the last week or so. I'm doing a light cycle right now (week 8), and my dosages are well below what I've done in the past - about 800mg/week total gear.

I checked my BP at the grocery store the other day and systolic was only a tad high, 130/60, but I know it can vary throughout the day.

I've been pounding ibuprofen and the pain usually goes away within 20 minutes or so, but it's recurring almost daily, so I want to get a handle on it. Is this something that might be blood pressure related?

Anyone else experience this type of symptom?

A headache related to hypertension usually is felt in the top of your head. It feels like the top of your head is gonna explode and blast off! Sounds like you have sinus pressure. You have sinuses all around your eyes. If you have sinusitis, the pressure can push on the eye.

Do you have allergies? Maybe a sinus infection? 130/60 is good, that's not the problem.

hey bro this may sound weird but give it a shot..

I experienced some terrible headPAINS for a while, so bad that I dont even consider them headaches. Well long story short... my doc found out my mercury levels were extremely elevated at the time. I had been eating too much tuna for my body to handle..

It wouldnt hurt to go to your physician and mention this.. see if anything comes up? If your eating a lot of fish.. i suggest find somethine else

130/60 isnt that bad bro. I would check it regular for the next wk and see how it goes. If the headaches persist I would see a doctor ASAP.

That is interesting! I have read about this but never come across it. I try to only buy farm raised fish as I have heard the mercury levels aren't a problem in them.

Do you take Clenbuterol?

Thanks for the responses.

Nope, no clen and no allergies to speak of. Pretty much don't eat fish either - except for the occasional ahi tuna appetizer on a dinner out somewhere.

Went ahead and got an appt with my doc today and when I sat down for the vitals testing, had another blazing headache. I'm not familiar with the sinus cavities, but the headache is pretty isolated to my temple and eyebrow area on one side. Anyways, sat down for the vitals and my BP was 155/80. Nurse said it might have been the stress from the headache at the time, but that gets me thinking for sure...

If high BP is known to cause headaches on the top of the head only, then I guess I'm okay. Honestly, I usually sit down at the pharmacy and test myself 3-4 times when I'm at the grocery store. As expected, it goes down after #2 and #3 test, and gets to 120/80 without issue once I'm relaxed (as long as the damn arm sleeve doesn't amputate my arm while trying to test - I mean who do they make those things for anyways?!?). Doc said this is normal and it seems like my BP is relatively in check.

Anyways, it was recommended that I take ibuprofen and Tylenol (both) for a few days to see if I can break the cycle of daily headaches.

On an unrelated note, I drank quite a bit of my pre-workout drink on the way to the gym today and absolutely killed it in there - - - with no headache at all! Gym = Therapy? hmmmmm.

Thanks for all the input - anyone else with something to add feel free to chime in.

Get a second opinion. Taking pain killers only masks the pain. Do you have any problems with low blood sugar or Diabetes? I actually went to a neurlogist for my headaches in the 90's. Best decision I ever made.

A hypertension headache problem brought on by the use of gear is as Emery posted. No aspirin or pain med will alleviate the pain as your bp is high and the other symptoms will be nose bleeds and blurred vision and the only way to stop the pain is to get off of the gear and possibly getting onto bp meds.

If you are getting pain behind your eyes and in the temple area you need to get checked by a doctor as your bp at 130/60 is definitely not the problem.

Considering your blood pressure really isn't that high, it sounds like a tension headache. My wife actually gets the same thing, and she never has high blood pressure. The doc told her that was what she had and to drink plenty of water, and to help her get over the initial headache, he has given her a shot of Toradol, a derivative of ibuprofen. She has done it probably about 5-6 times in the time we've been married (11 years). If your headache doesn't go away (as hers didn't either), you could ask your doctor about it. Most people experience relief in 5-10 minutes afterwards. They only give this shot at the clinic/doc office though. You cannot get it anywhere else.

allergies

i was just gonna say allergies...
i have them and this past 2 weeks.. have been killer.. the same feeling... ughhh it sucks!!! -totalrecall54

If you arent taking clen what about any other weight loss supplements? I find when my metabolism is ramped up if I dont eat the correct extra amount its almost like I starved myself all day and I get the same exact temple and eye headaches. They lay me up in bed for a couple of hours if I let them get bad enough. Try keeping your food steady and never let yourself feel hungry and see if that helps them.

I can get some pretty wicked headaches behind the eye due to allergies this time of year - have you noticed any nasal congestion or ringing in the ears with these headaches?

Do you take Clenbuterol?

That's a good question.
I have never had a headache like I did on Clen. I will never do it again in my life. It was, to be frank, as close as wanting to commit suicide as I have ever been. Went to the emergency room and they dosed me up 3 times the normal amount of meds before the edge even started to come off.
Thinking about it actually scares me.
I don't shy away from telling others it is probably fine for them, but for me...never again.
