The ban is official. It seems there will be some opposition-hopefully postponing the enevatable.

Its all part of the 'politically correct' society we live in-boldly protecting us from ourselves.

I was watching CNBC this afternoon and they had the CEO of bodybuilding.com and another guy who was from some Nutritional group. They were on both sides of the fence. The bodybuilding.com guy obviously made the most sense. 15K people die a year from aspirin, 100K die from prescription drugs and "supposedly" around 150 deaths have been attributed to ephedrine (and I don't know if that is this year or what the stats were on that) They kept bringing up Steve Belcher from the Orioles. It is unbelievable, same kind of shit that happened in 1990 with steroids.
I am gonna look for some bulk ephedra right not, see how much I get gouged.

btw, anyone seen Gigli? Best freakin movie ever made!!!!

I personally believe that it wiull not be banned.. at least not yet.. fox news has at least taken the stance that it might be "over reacting" to ban ephedra considering the deaths from other over the counter substances..i think the fda has jumped the gun this time.. amazing that they had a women on that lost her sone to ephedra .. she is heading a group that has been trying to get ephedra banned for quite some time..when asked if her soon followed the listed directions for use she replied " i dont know but, i doubt it" the reporter asked if she thought that maybe it could have been her sons fault and not the supplement, she replied "well, it is addictive and he probably had poor judgement from the pills" the reporter said that the goverment report states that it is not addictive, she replied "well, i believe it is".. so there ya go folks.. studies do not mean a thing..this is being banned because of emotional outcrys not facts.. hopefully the judges will see this..
