BCAA-Leucine-Hypoglecemia

Low carb -30G/day ,Im doing 45 Minutes of Low Intensity Cardio 3.5mph with an incline of 5%.

One question i have for you guys is that Everytime i Take a Whey protein Shake(Isolate,High Quality no Sugar) or Straight BCAA After the Cardio, without any Carb source.

One thing i notice is that after i take the shake 30 minutes after i Get Really white and It feel like i get into Hypoglecemia(Light Headed,Sweating)

Why does it do that?

I heard its the Leucine inside the bcaa or the protein Shake???
 
i allways expirienced that with mi post workout it consisted of wey hydroisolate plus 10-15gms of bcaas, both the whi plus bcaas may cause an insulin spike in some peaple plus your body wil use nutrients kuickly right after your wo/cardio and that leaves your body without any glucose in the bloodstream,hence the hypo condition, mi problem to avoid hypo is to include one scoop of slower digesting protein to the post workout shake,while on a low carb diet! i hope that helps

I must be pretty ignorant, but I was/am unaware of protein & aminos causing an insulin reaction.

I had thought that insulin was only affected by carbs & sugars.

It's a common misconception that people think only CHO increases insulin... Leucine, glutamine, and glycine are some amino acids that will do this, and will also replenish glycogen stores to an extent.
 
actually milk proteins produce the highest insulin release of all the proteins, those who have read alrys btpb will remember some sugestions on proteins and glycogen compensation perhaps someone else can elaborate!:)

It will be the Leucine as well as amino acids as a few of them are Insulinogenic.

Leucine is awesome for indirect insulin release.

Does that mean that an Intake of Whey Protein Isolate or BCAA alone Could Restore Glycogen without Any Carbohydrates after workout?

Or im missing something?

I read from Charles Poliquin he said that post workout you could replenish Glycogen store with Protein,Glutamine and Glycine.

Something like Whey Isolate 60g + Glutamine 20-80g + Glycine 20g for 200LBS Fat Man.

Im really starting to think that all That Carbohydrate Bullshit is just a bad idea,im not understanding 100% But i dont think you need Carbohydrates to GAIN MUSCLE.

You surely dont need them to KEEP MUSCLE, but to GAIN im not sure.

Anyway that would Mean that Whey protein Isolate is just as good, Because all those Amino Acids are inside the whey Protein Isolate not just in the quantity he said(Glutamine + Glycine)

Correct. Isolate + 30g Glutamine plus 3-4g Leucine is enough to restore glycogen. The amount it does depends on how much youve used obviously
