Best Competition Tan?

What are some of the best tanning products for a show? Could I get some pros and cons for each? Thanks.

I always use pro tan, 1 coat wensday night and shower thu morn, another coat thu after the shower, repaet friday and you should be ready to go sat morn. the longer you let it soak in the better, get some blk sheets to sleep on

I apply two coats of Protan a day ahead, and DreamTan on the day of. Be sure to keep the skin moisturized in the days ahead, as rough, dry skin tends to really soak up the colour.

the new jan tana competition system is unreal although it is a bit pricey

i put one coat on friday morning and one coat friday night.....that was all it took.

What is it called? Also, has anyone tried Claude Groulxs tanning stuff?

Dream tan turned me a bit too golden, so I would recommend applying several coats of Protan.

its called jan tana onstage competition color kit...............i picked mine up at the bodyrock for $60 and they threw in an extra bottle of color

Pro tan. You can go as dark or light as you want.

Most people use the Pro Tan. Mrs Strunk used 2 bottles of this at her last show and she still wan't dark enough though. The Pro Tan people that were backstage wouldn't let her go out on stage and they had to put something else on her to make her darker...not sure what exactly it was.
Most National level shows won't let you use Dream Tan.
Jan Tana has a new product that's like a bronzer that she was puting on the figure girls at shows and two coats of it did the job and looked great. I think Jan was charging them $20 per coat.
I agree...I wish they'd bring the Olympic Tan back.

I had Jan Tana do my tan at my last show. He (they guy she sends out to shows) sprays it on and it was SUPER fast and only two coats and I was DARK! I absolutely loved it! Not to mention JT...he loved not having to paint my a--.

It was worth the $100 just for the time and headache it saved.

There's a joke here but I will refrain. Is there a tan that can be used by itself of with a tanning bed that gives you a natural color and doesn't make you look like a baked turkey? Something that you can use year round. I also heard that tanning can naturally reduce acne. I always lost my bacne in the summer at the pool but I could never figure if it was the sun or the chlorine or both. Not trying to hijack.

from personal exp. I would say both, but indoor swimming had almost the same effect for me.
