best digestive aids?

What do you guys use for digestion if anything? There seems to be some that use only ginger root before high pro meals and some that take bromelien (sp?),etc?

What is your opinion?
 
digestive enzymes helped me ....
 
to be honest now I use a protein powder that already got some so I don't add it

but I believe Phil used to have some a few months ago (not sure it was him though)
 
I've has success with 1000mg bromelain, 1000mg ginger root with each big meal with lots of meat. On lighter less meat meals i'll take 500mg bromelain and 1000mg ginger root and nothing with protien shakes. Also take acidophillus 2x daily on empty stomach.

I limit the bromelain to 3000mg total daily.

doesnt bromelain make u feel nauseous ?
 
I like papya enzymes, and eating fruit in general such as kiwi that has protein digesting enzymes in it.
 
I've used NOW's Super Enzymes and have felt that they have helped. Way less gas, bloating, water retention after meals.
 
Bromelain and fenugreek.......
 
bromelain... massiveG turned me on to it and I haven't stopped taking it since.
 
I prefer Enzymedica Digest Gold with my whole food meals.

I use a Vitamin Shoppe brand enzyme blend. I think it has made a difference.
 
I use bromelain here also, as well as a powdered form of pappaya enzymes, it also comes as a liquid but more convenient for me to use powdered form.

Also take 2 serves of acidopholus a day, has worked wonders for me.
