What is it guys? ...ive heard a large george foreman is good

RJ

I like the Rocket Grill which I think someone used it on her as well. Place food in pouch and no mess clean up just toss the pouch.

I would love to hear more opinions.

I've used the George foreman for about two years now, same one.

Removable metal plates, so I can put them in dish washer.

And adjustable temperature.

I would pay $500 for another to be honest.

I literally cook 6 of my 7 meals on it, and the one I don't is a shake.

I love my George Foreman.

But you MUST get the one with the removable metal plates or it is a pain to wash.

But I'd love to hear more about that rocket.

I don't like the idea of the need to keep buying packets for the rocket.

I agree buying the pockets suck but NO CLEAN UP AT ALL....just remove the pouch and throw away. Cooks very even on all foods and is super quick. I used both and the Foremen was good but I personally like the rocket better for the ease of my busy life.

Is outdoor an option?

would prefer whatever the easiest is to transport..so probably indoor.

The George Foreman is leading so far in my book since it looks like you have to keep buying packets for the rocket

I did some more research on the rocket... look into the cons of these features of the rocket:

-it's vertical so think about the limitations of 'soft' stuff you can put in and keep its form (uncooked beef)
-Also with the packets it would be harder if not impossible to put more than one item inside of the packet since it is vercicle and they will be side by side and will cause cooking all the way through a problem... you know?
-Also the packets are smaller than the GF
-Also you can't easily take a peak at how done the food is like the GF, you open up the rocket and just see the top

But the one thing the rocket has over the GF is the Zero clean up... but just throw the metal trays in the dishwasher and your done... no scrubbing.

Also they say it tastes better than the GF cause it preserves the juices or whatever... from taste tests I've read it's nothing to write home about - if there is any difference.

I honestly was excited about something possibly beating out the GF :\

That's just what I've found from my researching.

i also have a small foreman grill. I didnt get the one with the removable plates so cleanup isnt as smooth as the other one, but i love the darn thing

Mainly looking for this to cook my chicken..bottom line. I need a good amount of space but not something thats gunna take up the whole kitchen..and also something thats quick to clean.

...Is this a good foreman grill or no? Any links to some good ones?

No, it doesn't have the removable trays nor temperature adjustment.

honestly I would get the rocket over the GF if the GF didn't have removable plates. That's how much the removable plates are nice... Just imagine cleaning these plates while still on the device... it's a pain - I have both a GF with the removable plate and without - I have the one without removable plates sitting on my fridge which I haven't used in over a year.

Get the removable plates it is literally worth way WAY over the 30$ more.

I have that exact model and it has last me over a year using LITERALLY 6 times a day (took like a couple of days off here and there of course)... but it is worth every penny x6.

Any other questions let us know.

AWESOME man...thanks alot! How many chicken breasts can you fit on that bad boy at once? And how are they..cook well and everything? Right now pretty much the only thing that is going on it is chicken and fish

Full size frozen chicken breast... You can squeeze three on there.

Personally I use one side of the grill one day, cook as I eat. then use the other half the next day, then wash it that night in dish washer... then repeat next morning. So my dish washer washes it every other day... but your needs may be different. But yes you can squeeze 3 full breasts on there. I always cut mine into a few pieces just so it cooks quicker and can fit more on there.

It cooks great! Like I said I like to cut the chicken into like 5 pieces so it cooks quicker (5-6 minutes).

Let us know your review of it when you try it out a couple times. Because I'm sure there are lurkers wanting another opinion.

I heard Hulk Hogan has a grill out now. It is suppossedly round. I haven't personally seen it but my buddy said it was pretty nice but he still got the Foreman

flavor wave

i saw mr. t endorse the flavor wave on a late night talk show. I totally want one of those now. They make it seem like in 5 minutes, everything is cooked perfectly! oh mr. t you crafty salesman you.

George foreman G5 grill. Picked this thing up for $75 on sale at Canadian Tire.

george

I use the foreman. One thing you can do that makes cleanup a breeze, is to use aluminum foil. Basically, put it on the bottom of the grill, put the food on, fold the foil on top of the food. Like an envelope with open sides and bottom. The fat still goes out the end. I don't think you get the same lines, at least as strong as before, but I don't notice it taste wise. When your done, just throw out the foil. I rarely wash the grill. I saw them do this at a local grocery store, and now use the grill probably 10X as much (I hate cleaning LOL)...

Do yourself a favor and cook your chicken in a crock pot. It's so much better. I have the big Foreman with the removeable plates and temp control...I don't even take it out of the drawer anymore.
