i was in the food store the other day and i noticed they now carry some sort of aussie free roaming beef...rib eyes. im somewhat of a beef snob and really for most part eat only aged prime grade rib eyes and to my surprise these aussie cuts were marbled just as well as the prime grade i usually buy at meat packing district in nyc and the price per lb was same as other supermarkets low grade choice meat.
question is, is this your normal cut over there...how is taste and tenderness...i couldnt imagine it not being very tender with all the marbleing! any input on it as i wanted to ask here before trying it. thank bros
