Bioavailability of liquid L-Carnitine vs injected

How much would a person have to take of a quality liquid version of L-Carnitine orally (with carbs) to get the fat burning qualities of injecting the L-Carnitine??
I have a female friend that has been making steady progress losing fat with a good diet and no she’s looking to add something else in to help and to help with weight training as our gyms are open back up this weekend. She gets 5 meals a day , middle three have 25g carbs so I was wondering if adding in 3g-4g with those three meals would be an effective dose.

We all know that the injection is the best way but that’s not an option for her.

Would 9g-12g a day taken orally be worth the cost.

IIRC oral L-carnitine has never been shown to increase muscular stores of l-car in either fed or fasted states

Here's a quote from a article datbtrue on l-carnitine injection.

I have covered how to use insulin with carnitine elsewhere; if you are already taking insulin (1iu or more) you can inject carnitine just prior to or just after your insulin - an optimal way to achieve high systemic levels of L-carnitine.

If you are not you need 50g carbs MINIMUM with each and every carnitine shot, or better yet 75-100g. I like for 50% of these carbs to be higher-GI "sinful" carbs and 50% can be lower-GI to get extended insulin secretion. You want both a spike and an extended curve. It is best to inject L-carnitine then eat your carb meal. If you can, have your protein at the very end of the meal to further aid insulin secretion. The only exception to all of this is if you are using the experimental ED protocol for L-carnitine - you CAN have carbs with it then, but do not NEED to, as the most important aspect of that protocol is simply inducing penile blood-flow with L-carnitine in your blood-stream. However if you do have carbs you will also get the other benefits of carnitine which are mostly mediated by CPT-1, namely fat-loss, improved cardiovascular efficiency, reduced cardiac hypertrophy, and reductions in fatigue as well as (in cases of actual carnitine deficiency) improved muscle growth and organ function.

I'm not sure taking oral l-carnitine would provide a noticeable decrease in bodyfat if you aren't taking in enough carbs. It's not overly expensive so it might not hurt to try. At best she might noticeable a subtle difference but it would be over a several months. If she isn't already taking it, caffeine pre-workout will help some with fat burning. If she wants to cross over, then a low dose of hgh can help females stay lean.
