blood sugar problem
I'm getting ready to compete in my first competition and so far everything is going pretty smoothly....the only problem I"m really having right now is that my blood sugar drops really low after my workout and sometimes I don't get enough carbs post-workout to bring my blood sugar back up. I"m not sure if I should eat some more carbs or just deal with the low blood sugar....let me know your thoughts....and advice is appreciated!!!

I don't think it's drastically low....it just makes my hands shaky and it gets old really quick. I'm not a hypoglycemic or anything it just likes to drop really low after my workout.

I use a $30 tester, when my blood drops below 70 I eat. Sometimes something simple like sunflower seeds can help without upping your sugar too much. But I'm hypoglycemic, so this happens when not dieting too.

it's right after my workout and sometimes it stays low after my post-workout meal which I usually get about 50g of carbs!!!
