boiling water BA content

I know that cooking gear in an oven and then releasing the pressure by venting with a pin works to evaporate some of the BA and making a less painful product...

what about setting the gear in boiling water? would this do the trick or would the temperature not be high enough?

I still do not believe BA causes pain. Most gear is 2% BA and bacteriostatic water has 1% BA and bw is never painful. I know guys who have injected BA to see if straight BA was painful. It was not. It caused absolutely no pain.

Bacteria and others are the reason for the pain or hormone crashing in depo. Yes some people heat their gear putting a small amount of water in a pan and hear but the oven is a better choice.

I personally don't do either. If you are worried about it or have painful gear you could filter.2 add 1% BA and let it sit for 4-5 days minimum and add heat to make sure it's not crashing. Honestly I haven't come across painful gear in a few years.
