Hey everyone. I have a phone interview tomorrow for a job in computer programming. I've heard that they are going to ask me numerous questions to test the level of my intellect and mastery of the material. Since I'm absolutely horrible under pressure, I was wondering if anyone knew of any supplements or foods I could eat before the call, to ensure my concentration is spot on. Now, I know tyrosine and ginko biloba are two that I should consider, but is there anything else you guys know of?

Not Much Help?!?!

Hey bro,

I don't know what other supplements you could choose for that, but I think it's all in your head. I'd say make sure you have a good meal before the call, take a couple deep breaths, relax and be yourself. I'm sorry I can't help more with those supplements, but don't sell yourself short! Best of luck with the interview!!

My mother told me that Miso soup is brain food

I also "crack under pressure" but always seem to do okay. I seemed to just babble at the job interview (by 5 people at once) for my current job and they actually hired someone else but liked me so well they made a position for me.

I think what slide said - just relax, listen and do your best!

I have really boned a phone interview before (still got the job) and I learned a valuable lesson.... Write some things down before hand about the kind of person you are that way if you screw up some tech questions you can at least nail the personality part. Now I handle my Interviews with an acronym suitable to the industry I work in (managing restaurants)
A Acountability
B Balance
C Commitment to Excellence
D Diversity

FUN

C Community
H Honor
I Innovation
P Passion

I feel like knowing this acronym can help answer ALOT of questions if you dont think quickly enough on your feet.

Good Luck
